The Federal Library and Information Network (FEDLINK) has announced the winners of its national awards for federal librarianship, which recognize the many innovative ways that federal libraries, librarians, and library technicians fulfill the information demands of the government, business and scholarly communities, and the American public.

Federal libraries and staff throughout the United States and abroad competed for the awards. The following winners were chosen for their contributions to federal library and information throughout fiscal year 2023. ..”

ACRL Insider reports that Contributed paper, panel session, and workshop proposals for the ACRL 2025 Conference – to be held April 2-5, 2025, in Minneapolis and online – are due Friday, June 7, 2024.

ACRL 2025 will be a platform for us to engage in critical conversations and explore solutions-centered approaches to the challenges facing our profession. We will focus on themes like embedded bias, inclusive excellence, and the role of technology. Whether you join us in person or virtually, we welcome you to be a part of this important conversation. Together, we can build a future where knowledge is accessible to all.

ACRL 2025 features eight session formats to suit a wide range of presentation and learning styles. Submit your contributed paper, panel session, and workshop proposals by June 7, 2024. Community chat, lightning talk, poster session, roundtable discussion, and virtual presentation proposals will be due October 18, 2024.
