Submit your proposal now for the
40th Annual Charleston Conference
November 2 – 6, 2020
“Quo vadis?”

Statement Regarding Covid-19: The Charleston Conference is taking all developments concerning the coronavirus (Covid-19) seriously and will continue to closely monitor the situation. There are no plans to postpone or cancel the 40th annual conference at this time.

Although we are hopeful that the crisis will have passed by November, we are committed to creating an online or virtual component of the conference to make it available for those who are unable to join us in person. We are also investigating a fully online event should the need arise.

Do you have ideas, challenges, solutions, or information to share?

We’re seeking proposals on topics related to collection development and acquisitions, including, but not limited to, the following threads:

  • Analytics
  • Collections
  • Library Services
  • Management
  • Scholarly Communication
  • Technology
  • Up & Comers – For those new to the profession.

Submit your proposal now at https://charlestonlibraryconference.com/call-for-papers/.

The Charleston Conference would like to thank Morressier for their generous support of the Call for Papers and Virtual Posters with their content management platform.

Please note: All sessions must be library led – the primary organizer must be a practicing librarian or library worker, and publishers/vendors must be invited to participate. We encourage proposals that include representation from the different viewpoints and stakeholders in the scholarly communications process. Please consider the diversity of your panel.

Conference sessions are meant for librarians, publishers, and vendors to discuss issues of interest to them all. They are not an opportunity for marketing products or services.

Contact Leah Hinds, Executive Director, with questions at leah@charlestonlibraryconference.com.
