HARRASSOWITZ Charleston Conference Scholarship 2019

Congratulations!

HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to award the 2019 Charleston Conference Scholarship to Melissa Davis, Faculty Librarian, Warrington Library, Pensacola State College.

Ms. Davis was awarded the $1,000 scholarship to attend the conference, which takes place November 4-8, 2019 in Charleston, South Carolina.

In support of the 2019 conference theme of “The time has come… to talk of many things!”, applicants for this year’s scholarship were asked to submit a short essay on the topic “What does <The time has come… to talk of many things!> mean to libraries and vendors?”

Judging the submissions were Sarah Forzetting, Ordering, Payments, and Gifts Librarian, Stanford University; Trey Shelton, Chair, Acquisitions & Collections Services, University of Florida; and Justin Clarke, HARRASSOWITZ’s Director of Sales and Marketing for North America.

The complete essay can be downloaded here.
