Now Available: The Internet Archive Makes More Than 100 Years of Editor & Publisher Fully Accessible Online

infoDOCKET reports that when Mike Blinder owner of Editor & Publisher magazine learned that “the Internet Archive would digitize all of the issues at no cost to him. Blinder enthusiastically gave permission for the full 100-year history to be read and downloaded by anyone, anywhere – along with E&P’s International Yearbook and Market Guide. Going beyond the Internet Archive’s traditional lending system ensures it can be indexed by search engines and made maximally useful to readers and researchers…”

IOP Publishing partners with Morressier to enhance publishing workflow for conference research

Jisc and Springer Nature extend  commitment to open access publishing

According to this press release “Jisc and Springer Nature have extended the UK Compact agreement by including the prestigious Academic Journals (AJs) on which includes some of the world’s most internationally renowned medical titles. The extension of the transformative agreement demonstrates both Jisc and Springer Nature’s commitment to ensuring authors can publish their research open access (OA) from the point of publication, supporting wider accessibility whilst also managing the costs of access and OA publishing…”

Complete the OCLC survey on libraries and Sustainable Development Goals

OCLC Research announces that it is partnering with the OCLC Global Council “to explore the impact libraries can have on global sustainable development. The survey is open to all libraries, regardless of type, size, or geographic location, and to all library staff, whether you’re a director or front-line staff.
Time is running short to participate, though. The survey is open through January 31, 2021. It will take 10–15 minutes to complete.…”
